A Great Fish Swallows Jonah
17 And the Lord appointed a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. ESV
Jonah 1:17 Are you someone who tells everyone all your problems or do you keep them to yourself? Jonah seems to have been like modern day man & kept things bottled up. To be fare it is not as if he could hop in the car for a drive. The fact is that God pursued Jonah & now he is in the belly of a large fish-sent by God. Perhaps he will finally be ready to talk with God. Do you bring your issues directly to God or do you run with them & look to bury them? Jesus poured His heart out before God. Yes He was silent before Pilate but that was for reason-that He would go to the cross-the righteous for the unrighteous to bring us to God. Jesus laid His life down and He took it back up again. Christ redeemed & reconciled us to the Father! Repent-Believe-Follow Today!
