Psalm 139:7-12
7 Where shall I go from your Spirit?
Or where shall I flee from your presence?
8 If I ascend to heaven, you are there!
If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there!
9 If I take the wings of the morning
and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
10 even there your hand shall lead me,
and your right hand shall hold me.
11 If I say, “Surely the darkness shall cover me,
and the light about me be night,”
12 even the darkness is not dark to you;
the night is bright as the day,
for darkness is as light with you. ESV
Psalm 139:7-12 Have you ever had a desire to run away? What were you hoping to escape? Unfortunately we have many that look to escape life mentally & emotionally as well as physically. Our Psalm reminds us that we can never run away from God. God’s Grace is sufficient to reach us & rescue us from the deepest pit. No matter where we find ourself God is there. You are either a beloved child of God or an object of His Holy wrath. Either way you are not running away from Him! God pursues His Sheep & by grace through faith He justifies us & credits us with the righteousness of Jesus. Jesus takes our sin & its penalty & through His death & resurrection He washes us white as snow. We are made forever right with God. God is an Awesome God!
